Tour program

Have an early breakfast surrounded by Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. We have reached a highlight of the safari as you this day will go gorilla trekking in a group with a specialized guide, walk through the fascinating jungle and spend one hour with the Mountain Gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest Elephants, Statungas and Dikers. After the gorilla trek and relaxing, we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale which is also known as the “Switzerland of Africa.”

Kibale forest national park is a rainy forest and a home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. During your morning chimps trekking you will see them close and capture shots of our closest cousins in the Jungle in their frenzy exciting moods grooming! Besides the chimps 9 different species of Monkeys are found in this forest, for example red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies. In the forest canopy colored aviation creatures-butterflies and various bird species like the native Great blue Turaco, joyful greenbul, olive long tailed cuckoo and the superb black bee eater can be spotted. After the guide brings you back to the lodge to check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park to break the long drive

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning. We go for an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes. After lunch in the afternoon it is time for the 3pm boat-cruise on Kazinga channel, lasts 2 hours. Here you have the chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and more along the banks of the channel.

Leave the lodge early in the morning heading to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will drive off in this adventurous vast savanna area with Topis and the southern version of Elephants to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. Transfer on to Bwindi Mountain Gorillas after the game-drive, through the neck of the impenetrable forest. The journey takes us through a changing landscape from savanna via cultivated hills to forest covered mountains. (If we reach early we can do the walk and mix with the locals or relax with the Orphans group performers).

With morning breakfast, we enjoy a cool breeze with canoe ride on the lake before transferring to board the departure flight from Entebbe international airport

Start the safari with transfer to Kibale Forest National Park from Kampala in the morning with the target to have lunch in Fort portal. A punctuation of stopovers in the far country side offer us chances of stretching in villages and around tea plantations along the drive as we check in late afternoon. Listen to the sounds of the forest and relax in the evening.

Our representative will be waiting to cheer you up arrival at Entebbe international airport and thereafter transfer you to your hotel for an Overnight at Lake Victoria view guesthouse
